Several scholars have created a two-dimensional rendering of their conceptualization of a monastery that might have been built from the Plan.

Some scholars realized their conceptualizations in three-dimensional models. We provide QucikTime Virtual Reality displays of four of the five known models. The links "base resolutions" or "high resolution" below create a new browser window with the Quicktime plugin. Each must load a QuickTime panorama of the given physical model and may take sevearl seconds to load. The size of the file to be downloaded is indicated on "mouse over". The panoramas initialize with a "plan view" of the model, then as you drag (select and hold) the cursor right or left across the scene the view will rotate the model. The QTVR models are courtesy of Michael and Barry Gross.
